I finally switched from PayPal to Stripe for my SaaS. What a relief and what a great experience from Stripe!

My SaaS is a Project Management Tool, and I am a programmer by profession.

When I launched the app at the end of 2022, I chose to use PayPal because I had a great personal experience with it and it seemed simple to use.

But in the future, I realized that simplicity without the lack of customizations and basic options, like a damn discount option, made me seriously disappointed by PayPal.

For the past few days, I've been researching alternatives, and Stripe was my top choice.

We use Firebase for the backend, and I was happy to see that there was a plugin for Stripe!

So I started the process and I loved the entire part of it.

The configuration just made sense and took into account all my past struggles and beyond the option I thought I would need.

Also, from an engineering standpoint Stripe process is really well thought.

I also love that users have Google Pay and Apple Pay.

I can not believe that PayPal is so bad at this but I guess it is not a priority for them.

What payment processor are you using for your SaaS, and are you happy with it?
